Sermon on the Mount

When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. He opened His mouth and began to teach them” (Matthew 5:1-2).

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gave instructions for the life of a disciple. As people came to follow Him, He wanted them to be sure they understood what it meant to be His disciple.
